ARTS BRIEFS

Get a slice of knowledge about the powerful pipe organ

Have you ever seriously considered learning to play the mighty pipe organ? Do you like pizza? Then Pedals, Pipes and Pizza is for you.

The gathering takes place Saturday, Oct. 27 from 1-4 p.m. at the Ascension Lutheran Church balcony. This afternoon is especially designed for children, teens and adults who might be interested in learning to play the “king of all instruments.”

Learn how pipe organs are built, take a walking (climbing) tour into the church’s organ chamber, play the organ and share a meal with new music friends. Members of the Space Coast Chapter American Guild of Organists will be on hand to answer questions and share information.

To reserve a spot, call Lois or Richard Vestuto at 321-676-6002. Space is limited to 30 participants.
